The 2027 Annual Enrollment Period Is Here

The 2027 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is an important time in the Medicare plan year. It gives you the opportunity to review your current coverage and make changes to your Medicare benefits for the upcoming year.

Because AEP involves a high volume of work within a limited number of days, I’ll be using technology to streamline the process and improve efficiency. This allows me to spend more time focused on what matters most, which is addressing your individual needs and helping you navigate your Medicare options.  See below instructions on how to contact me.

Thank you for your cooperation and for allowing me to serve you during this important time of year.

2027 Annual Enrollment Period Calendar

Here are the key dates to keep in mind during the 2027 Annual Enrollment Period:

September — Review Your Annual Notice of Change

Your Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D plan should send you an Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) outlining important changes to your plan for 2027.

If you have not received your notice, please contact your plan provider directly.

October 1 — 2027 Plan Information Becomes Available

CMS releases information about the Medicare plans available for 2027. You can review plan information on Medicare.gov.

October 15 — Annual Enrollment Period Begins

You can begin submitting changes to your Medicare coverage for 2027.

December 7 — Annual Enrollment Period Ends

This is the last day to make changes to your Medicare coverage during the Annual Enrollment Period. Changes must be submitted by this date.

Note: The last day to make an appointment with me to review your plan is November 30, 2026. This allows me ample time to submit your plan changes by the December 7 deadline.

January 1, 2027 — New Coverage Begins

If you made a plan change during the Annual Enrollment Period, your new coverage generally begins January 1, 2027.
